this catalog to our dear friend

, James Darby, Jr.

who built the awesome 1940 Ford De

luxe coupe

featured on our cover. From the 392 Hemi engine

with a 671 supercharger to the

nostalgic ET wheels

and all leather interior, this 60

’s style concept car is

Jimmy’s dream finally realized.

We first met Jimmy, a fellow car jock, when he was

still in high school. Many of you may remember Jimmy as my sidekick

heading to car shows in the Aerom

ax but our first road trip toget

her was in

1973 when Marcia and I borrowed my mom’s 1971 Ford To

rino and drove to

the NSRA street rod nationals in Tu

lsa, OK with Marcia’s sister, Elaine and

my little brother, Richard. We took turns dr

iving some 30 hours straight to

Tulsa where we camped out at the local KOA campground in a m

oldy army

tent I found in a wrecked car. The

show was amazing…from the cars to the

exhibitors to the swap meet where I found a b

lower for my ’32 3-window

coupe. Needless to say we had a blast!

Jimmy passed away in 2002 but he’ll live on in

our hearts as we cherish

those special memories that make up a big pa

rt of our lives.

We have artfully combined the classic styling of the '40 Ford steering column with modernmanufacturing techniques and designed the ultimate column for traditional hot rods. Each ishand crafted from aluminum alloy to look original in every way. All dimensions are exactlylike the original.

• The '40 column is available with an authenticlooking column shift with reproduction shiftknob and detents compatible with most threeand four speed automatics. The shift linkagelever can be indexed to any position for easylinkage hook-up.• A smooth versionwithout the columnshift is alsoavailable forfloor shifts.

• Any of the new Juliano’s wheels mount directly to these columns for an exceptionallyclean look. No adapters!
