Reversal of Brain Tumours withNutritional Protocolby Hillel Fridman

My grandparents lived to an averageage of 90 and died of heart attacks orstroke. My parents' generation lived to anaverage age of 75 and died of a combina-tion of heart disease or cancer. My parentshoth died from cancer. Our generation hasno heart disease hut is riddled with cancer.

This includes my sister who lives inIsrael. She has had five rounds of cancerover the last eleven years, two breast andthree brain. This is the story of her recentcancers.

Two and a half years ago she wasadmitted to hospital and a cluster of braintumours were discovered around the brainstem. She was given steroids to reduce theswelling that was threatening her life. Ithen suggested she go on a course of sup-plements. Three months later CT scansshowed no evidence of any of the tumours.She had no other medical intervention asshe had refused both chemotherapy orradiotherapy.

Confident she was in the clear, shereduced and then stopped taking her sup-plements. She also continued eating foodsthat I had asked her to avoid: red meat,dairy, sugar, salt, fried and oven cookedfood. A year after she was diagnosed with

her first round of brain tumours, hersymptoms returned.

This time a CT scan revealed a largetumour in the brain cortex measuring2.5cm by 2.0cm. Once again she was puton steroids and resumed her supplementregime while refusing any medical inter-vention other than a biopsy. In prepara-tion for the hiopsy she was scanned.Amazingly, instead of heading for the oper-ating theatre she headed for the car park,as the tumour had disappeared.

Unfortunately, her symptoms returnedfour months later, this time more severely:she had to be hospitalized and finallyunderwent a biopsy, the details of whichare worth recounting. Her cluster oftumours were located towards the front ofthe brain. However it could not he reachedfrom the front because of vascular obstruc-tions. The entry had to be from the rear,crossing much of the brain. A robotic arm,not a surgeon's hand was used for preci-sion and part of it was controlled by a sur-geon in the United States by video andcomputer link.

They found what we had suspected;lymphoma or more accurately, centralnervous system lymphoma. The first diag-

nosis of this kind of cancer was 15 yearsago, which gives cause for reflection. Itdoes not spread heyond the central nerv-ous system. We had begged the oncologistsnot to do the biopsy, saying the hehaviourof the tumours suggested they were lym-phomas, but they refused to offer anytreatment without the biopsy. Predictably,the biopsy affected the brain and my sisterwas ver>' unwell by that stage.

It was at this point I rushed to Israelwith the enhanced range of supplementsdetailed below. I was shocked hy Bernice'scondition. She was confused, grey lookingand breathed with difficulty. Her hushandand I immediately began to administer thesupplements (after a lengthy discussionthe Oncologist had relented and given herconsent). Ten hours later, her breathingwas back to normal, her colour hadreturned and she was speaking coherently.Her husband who had previously ques-tioned the use of supplements because ofthe reoccurrence of her cancers wasamazed, and committed himself thereafterto making sure she now systematicallytook them.

As aresult, for the first time she wanted to hewell. Taking control of her life meant shenow wanted the chemotherapy.

We spoke at length to the Head ofOncology and the Professor allowed her totake her supplements alongside the chemo.During the courses of chemo, the benefitsof the supplements were so startling thatthe professor hrought her teams of doctorsto view Bernice who was not showing anyof the U8ual side effects. Prior to the

second dose of chemo, Bernice's eyesighthad hegun to return and after the thirdshe was given the all clear to drive again.

When she arrived for the fourth round,the Professor refused to allow her to takethe supplements until after the metho-trexate had heen administered and washedout, saying she was concerned it wastaking longer than normal for the chemo toclear her body. In the 24 hours she wasunprotected, Bernice felt effects she hadnot experienced in the previous threerounds.

As I write, my sisters have just phonedto say they are flying to London for aholiday with Verity and me. The Professorhas agreed to defer her final round ofchemo to enahle her to visit. I have nodoubt she is tumour free and for the firsttime I am optimistic about her future,hecause she has regained the will and thedesire to live.
