Based in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom, Origin is an award winning UK manufacturer of bespoke, aluminium folding sliding doors. Origin’s CEO Neil Ginger was seeking a range of seal products with a high level of weather performance. They also required the seals to be produced in a range of different colours that would closely match those of the door frames.

“ They approached us to assist with the development and manufacture of seals that would meet their needs perfectly and we worked closely with Origin’s CEO Neil Ginger on the development of two bespoke seals, the Q-Lon 9135 and Q-Lon 9141. This process involved the creation of customer specific tooling and we now regularly supply them with seals in 11 different colours to coordinate with each of Origin’s most popular door colours.”

Origin originated over 10 years ago and continues to grow from strength to strength thanks to its superior design, engineering and excellent customer service. Each door is made to the customer’s exact specification and aperture width and folding leaves can be as narrow as 400mm or as wide as 1200mm. All doors feature an eight point locking system manufactured to the Secured by Design standard and include the company’s unique free glide running system.
