KRAFTWERK designed and constructed a photovoltaic (PV) plant within an off-grid diesel system for Tierra Atacama Hotel & Spa located in the Atacama Desert. The heart of the solution is an intelligent control unit which allows a stable PV-diesel supply system without the use of batteries. During the day, the PV plant generates up to 50% of the hotel’s electricity.
