We first came across this project when the customer required a glass juliet balcony for their double doors on the first floor of the property.
We designed a stainless steel framed glass system to meet their exact requirements, with an opening size of 2.4 metres at a finished height of 1.1 metres. The glass utilised was 10mm clear toughened finished with polished edges.
This solution allowed them to open their doors inwardly and enjoy the outdoor feel from the safety of their home, without the need to construct a balcony walkway.
Following a successful design and installation process, the customer returned to us for a garden balustrade solution for their raised patio area, wanting to achieve a frameless look so not to interrupt the stunning views.
A mini post frameless balustrade was the perfect solution for this project. The base mounted duplex stainless steel glass clamps offer superior quality and durability, perfect for an external railing system. A 12mm clear toughened glass was specified for the panels, finished off with polished edges and a stainless steel mini rail across the top, offering the correct safety without compromising on the design.
The total area covered by the frameless balustrade was 9.3 metres at a finished height of 1.1 metres, a standard requirement by building regulation standards.
