“We should all be proud of this development. This is now one of the best facilities adidas have globally.”Doug Newnan, VP Corporate Real Estate, adidas

The building, constructed to the customer’s exacting specification and highest possible levels of quality constitutes one of the most modern facilities developed throughout China in recent years and will play a key role in the infrastructure required to support the Retailer’s supply chain network and long term growth in China.

The building features a range of energy efficient and flexible design features which enable increased operational efficiencies including high performance roofing and cladding. The building is also designed in a way to enable growth and expansion within the customers operations together with the capability to support a high level of automation.

The delivery of this project follows completion of a similar sized, high specification 60,000 sq m (650,000 sq ft) build to suit regional distribution centre also built by Brookfield for the same retail customer in Osnabruck, Germany within the past 12 months. In total Brookfield has delivered in excess of 1.3 million sq ft of high quality, distribution space for adidas globally within the past 12 months.
