Scope of Work
OMC’s scope of work was to select a suitable comminution circuit and major equipment based on comminution testwork analysis of the Chucapaca ore body. Four product sizes were investigated ranging from P80 75 – 150 µm.
Flowsheet
The flowsheet selected was a primary crushed SAB due to the competency of the material to be processed.
Outcome
Primary gyratory crusher selected for crushing, 9.7 MW SAG mill sizes and a range of ball mills between 7.0 – 11 MW to suit the targeted product size range for the project.
