Eventhough Tunisia has a magnificient diverse history, it’s still not valued nor well known by the people. For this reasons, Carthagina, the Tunisian NGO for the protection and preservation of the history, material and immaterial heritage, was founded. Carthagina was founded by an homogeneous group of young activists.The group (2 women and 4 men) started to deliver some cultural tours for the newly born community. The board first met on April 9th 2013, in a 200 years old house ­ Beit El Bennani, in The Medina of Tunis­ which serves as a Library and documentations centre.
