The 17th Carriers World Asia was successfully staged at the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit Hotel,Bangkok, Thailand, from 24 - 25 March 2015. Now seen as the annual platform for the carrierscommunity in Indochina and the rest of Asia, the 2015 event welcomed 400 high-levelrepresentation from 152 organisations convening from 27 countries – the highest attendancein 17 years, achieving a 90% year-on-year growth in attendance!
With the revamped theme “Exploding Bandwidth, Emerging Markets, Evolving Partnerships”,Carriers World Asia is set to be the stage, in this new digital age, where decision makers fromleading international carriers, operators, authorities and suppliers throughout the entirewholesale communications chain meet to learn, strategise and partner for the common goal ofcore revenue sustenance and growth in this region of rising opportunities.
With over 40 world-class speakers this year, attendees heard expert case studies, upcomingopportunities and partnerships to improve competitiveness in the shifting telecoms landscape.
Feedback from this year’s participants was very positive, with most commending the growth inattendance, calibre of the speakers and content discussed, targeted group of delegates, andunparalleled networking opportunities. The 2015 event also saw the continuation of theinteractive Expert Roundtables, where attendees got up close and personal with invited expertson key industry issues that mattered to them.
It won’t be Carriers World Asia without the exciting receptions and parties! Day 1 was packedfull of action with Telarix kick-starting lunch, while China Unicom hosted a cocktail reception atthe hotel’s lobby lounge where three lucky participants won the much-anticipated high-definition, extreme-action cameras. dtac TriNet and Telenor Global Services once again co-hosted the annual Day 1 After Party. Despite the downpour and minor flooding earlier in theday, many industry partners made their way on foot and via the MRT to the rooftopentertainment terrace at dtac House. Everyone had fun networking, tasting Thai cuisine,drinking and dancing in accordance to the beats from the various dance and musicperformances that went on throughout the night.
Terrapinn is committed to providing an effective platform for the industry and to build upon thesuccess for an even better event in 2016. We will continue to work closely with the advisoryboard and industry experts to deliver the definitive meeting place for the carriers community inAsia.

New website interface for easy navigation. The website garnered a total of 8,800+ visits, 4,900+unique visitors and 22,900+ page views.
Two round of announcements (December 2014 and January 2015) were made to promote thelatest updates. We did not do any direct mailing but more efforts were put through in doingextensive online activities with partners and sponsors.

We have an online resource centre and a few rounds of emails to promote the download ofsponsors’ and speakers’ past presentations and other downloadable content.
The first stage of campaign dedicated to reach out to potential partners from April 2014 toFebruary 2015 to an average of 13,300 records (30 emails). 25 emails were sent out to anaverage of 28,800 records between December 2014 to March 2015 to promote delegateacquisition. External efforts with supporting association and media partners include emailannouncements.

The event was listed in 9 websites and other trade portals. 2 rounds of LinkedIn CPC ads wereexecuted to encourage inbound leads, generating more than 50 clicks as a result.
Contact details of over 2,200 telecom industry professionals were updated and researched.
Two telemarketers were assigned to the event at -15 weeks. They were given a highly targetedcall list of over 2,000 industry contacts.
A co-marketing kit was sent out to sponsors, which included the email invite featuring (any)speaker engagements and the sponsor’s participation, as well as web / email banners.
