WHAT IS EASTER ISLAND?

Easter Island Is located in the pacific ocean off the coast of Chili. Easter Island’s big heads are making everyone say, “Who made these?

Who moved these 10 ton statues?” In this power point I will tell you all about Easter Island and its mysterious heads.

WHAT COLOR ARE MOAIS

Moais (the figures) are a slight gray. Some are a bit tan and have red hats.

HOW TALL ARE MOAIS ?

Moais are about 11 to 20 feet tall or 34 to 6 meters!

HOW MUCH DO MOAIS WEIGH?

Moais typically weigh about 10 tons!!

WHERE CAN I FIND EASTER ISLAND?

You can find Easter island on the west coast of Chile.

FUN FACT: The island is called Easter Island because the man who discovered this island found it on Easter!

HOW MANY MOAIS ARE ON EASTER ISLAND?

About 600 lie on the land. They are scattered about.

WHO MADE MOAIS?

Some believe that aliens built these huge perfectly carved statues and stood them up right. Others think that the islanders did this.

WHY DID PEOPLE MAKE MOAIS?

Some people say that aliens crashed and made the figures for fun. Some people think humans made moais for their ancestors.

Beyond Human Strength Some people do not think moais were

man made. How could the islanders have moved these 80 ton statues? Technology would have been needed to move these gigantic heads!

DID ALIENS MAKE MOAIS?

I can debunk that aliens did not make moais. Don’t you think we would have found traces of aliens by now? If aliens crashed down how did they get back in space? Humans could have found a way to move 80 ton statues.
