CARNIVALSIn February or in early March Spain celebrates the Carnival. Carnival typically involves a public celebration and a public street party. This is the third year the parents’ association AMPA participates in this event with their children.

We want to give continuity to what the pupils are learning in the school. That is the reason why the fancy dresses are related to the topics of the preschool projects. This way we can involve parents in the school projects.

The first year, 2015, the theme was “The Prehistory”. We wanted to look like cavemen so we wore different furs. In addition , we made a Mammoth.

The second year, 2016, the theme was “China”. Our clothes were made with red garbage bags and golden foam. They were very simple. We made a beautiful and colorful dragon too. We were 60 people and we won the third award of the town. We were all very happy.

This year, 2017, the theme is “The Roman Empire”. We have different characters: roman women, roman soldiers, gladiators, lions and one emperor with his wife. In addition , we are decorating the cars of the babies as if they were horse carriages. We are 76 persons.
