Aim: To build a castle using recycled materials
This is a list of recycled material used for our project.
Plastic bottles Kitchen rolls Shoe boxes
This is us doing a sketch.
We shared ideas on how to build a castle.
Constructing the castle: STEP 1
We opened a shoebox and stuck it again the other way round. Our teacher helped us to cut the doors and the windows. We
used plastic bottles to make the windows.
Constructing the castle: STEP 2
We did the towers using kitchen rolls. Using scissors, we cut pointed towers. Then we stuck them to the four
corners of the shoe box using glue.
Constructing the castle: STEP 3
We stuck the castle to a cardboard base.We used cardboard to make the pointed edges of
the castle.
Decorating the castle: STEP 1
We painted the castle pink and yellow. We drew hearts on the towers. We made a garden by
making some trees using cardboard and tape.
Decorating the castle: STEP 2
We decorated the garden with trees and a mini golf made out of cardboard.
