We’re back! After the success of last year’s Carrick Carnival 400, we couldn’t not have another festival this year. We’ve dropped the ‘400’ bit, but that’s about all. The Carrick Carnival festival continues to be 10 days jam packed with fun and entertainment for all the family!

Welcome back the old reliables - The Barman’s Race, Phil the Fluter’s Fancy Dress Ball and the Fireworks Display (along with another fab water dance show)! Add to this world class Street Shows, Pig Racing, top quality Live Music on the street, and the delectable Taste of Carrick, and there really is something for everyone! Our Opening Parade is going to be bigger and bolder, and growing from this, we’ve added a ‘not to be missed’ Night Time Illuminated Spectacle on the closing Saturday night.

Along with the very hard working committee, a huge amount of people make this festival happen - Leitrim County Council, An Garda Síochana, the Chamber of Commerce, all of our local businesses, and our stewards and volunteers who work with us to make it all run smoothly. ‘Thanks a million’ to you all! We couldn’t do it without you!

And of course our sponsors and funders! If there’s no mon, there’s no fun...and their generous support, financial or otherwise, has made this festival possible, and ensures it continues as a mainly FREE festival for everyone to enjoy.

So come along, join in the fun, and delight in the greatest 10 days in Carrick since...well last year’s Carnival!!!

Kenny Murtagh, Brendan Kieran, Margaret O’Rourke Doherty, Brendan Dee, Colm Keane, Darina Cryan, Rory O’Connor, Stephen Murtagh, Shane Fitzpatrick, Tom Glancy, Andrew Flynn, Shamzuri Hanifa, Stephen Mulvey, Liam Gilchrest.
