Caring for Male Reproductive System

Do a testicular self-examination every month after a warm shower or bath.

Shower or bathe regularly. Wear protective gear, such as an athletic supporter or cup,

when participating in contact sports. Visit a health care provider for regular check ups

- A male usually visits a specialist called a urologist for reproductive problems

Caring for Female Reproductive System

Do breast self-examination every month. Shower or bathe daily. Keep track of your menstrual cycle. See a health care provider if you experience premenstrual

syndrome (PMS). - PMS occurs just before menstruation. It can include

headaches, breast tenderness, fatigue, irritability, acne, and abdominal cramps.

Visit a gynecologist for regular checkups.- A gynecologist is a doctor who specializes in the female reproductive

system
