Founded in 2010 as “Enlabs” and renamed in 2012 as “LUISS Enlabs” after a joint venture with LUISS University, it is currently Europe’s largest startup accelerator with its 5,000 square meters of floor space. Moreover, “LUISS Enlabs MHUMA”, a space dedicated to training, business development and creativity, is scheduled to open in Milan soon.

BUSINESS GAME A business game is an innovative MANAGERIAL
TRAINING tool, which envisages one or more players (or teams) in competition with one another to achieve the same goal. If you are interested in proposing business cases, our students,
near-graduates and/or graduates, divided
into small groups, will have a chance to PUT THEMSELVES
TO THE TEST demonstrating their
problem-solving abilities and offering innovative solutions.
TURBO SESSIONA turbo session is a 40-MINUTE, session whose purpose is to FOSTER CONTACT BETWEEN
STUDENTS AND BUSINESSES, creating real interaction with the latter thanks to its dynamic and interactive structure. Turbo sessions start off with a short presentation of the employer, highlighting most required profiles and available opportunities for career advancement along with entry-level jobs.

A lot of emphasis is placed on SELECTION PROCESSES AND THE
MOST COMMON MISTAKES MADE
DURING INTERVIEWS. There is then a Q&A session during which employers answer questions from participants, followed by mock individual and group interviews.
SPEED INTERVIEWSStudents and graduates have 5 MINUTES TO INTRODUCE
THEMSELVES TO THE EMPLOYER,
WHO WILL OFFER FEEDBACK IN
3 MINUTES. The employer can ask for the CVs of the most interesting candidates. In a few minutes the two partners, employer and candidate, exchange information before proceeding to an initial selection. The recruiters' purpose would be to detect affinities that later can be explored more in depth. The technique used is the ELEVATOR PITCH, which tests a candidate’s ability to quickly create a positive impression. An hourglass counts down the time: once it is up the employer CAN ASK FOR THE CV.

ADLABThe Adoption Lab (AdLab) project was set up with the aim of PUTTING
STUDENTS IN TOUCH WITH COMPANIES and of helping them understand more about the business world
from the inside. A unique way to improve one’s CV, network and obtain hands-on experience. Leading companies adopt the students selected by the project, offering them the chance to work on projects and to be mentored and supported in their professional growth and development. AdLab is open to all those studying for a master’s degree or who are in the fourth year of a single-cycle master’s degree program in law.
OPPORTUNITIES ABROADLUISS offers its own students further OPPORTUNITIES TO STUDY
AT PRESTIGIOUS UNIVERSITIES
ABROAD over and above traditional student exchange
programs. Those programs offer students a unique opportunity to add an international flavor to their CV and embark on a stimulating experience in a different cultural and university context, broadening their academic and personal horizons. The programs are generally devised in order to enable master’s degree and single-cycle master’s degree students to obtain a certificate or qualification in addition to their LUISS degree. Other programs allow bachelor’s degree students to spend an academic year, a semester or the summer period abroad to earn credits for their study plan.

VOLONTARIAMENTEThe aim of the project is to heighten students’ awareness by offering them VARIOUS OPPORTUNITIES FOR
VOLUNTEERING: the volunteers will have a chance to encounter work in its most practical and day-to-day aspects so as to understand first-hand how every great project is underpinned by concrete action, developing HUMILITY and SYSTEMIC VISION. They will approach DIFFERENT REALITIES, so as to appreciate what they have and comprehend real value, developing GRATITUDE and GENEROSITY. They will meet people with different life experiences and discover how working together can make us grow more than we ever expected, and strengthen RESPECT and HUMANITY.
ROTMAN COMPETITIONLUISS PARTICIPATES IN
THE PRESTIGIOUS ROTMAN
INTERNATIONAL TRADING
COMPETITION.Our students’ enormous
commitment has been demonstrated by the great success achieved in recent years: two first places in 2014 and 2015. Moreover, in August 2016 LUISS University hosted the Rotman European Trading Competition with a structure similar to the international competition held annually in Toronto. The LUISS team ranked first out of the 29 university teams from around Europe.
SPORTASD LUISS was founded in the 1999/2000 sports season with the intent of introducing in Italy the Anglo-American model of students studying at a high level
while playing sports for their university.There are currently 13 SPORTS TEAMS plus two groups. The 13 teams are men’s I Categoria football, men’s university football, women’s five-a-side football, men’s Serie B basketball, men’s Promozione basketball, women’s basketball, men’s volleyball, women’s volleyball, men’s rugby, mixed cycling, mixed rowing, mixed skiing and mixed swimming. The two sports groups are personal defense and dancing. Highlights include winning the LNP Italian Cup (basketball) and the Rome Intervarsity Tournament (football).
