Career Classic Golf Tournament

The Office of Career Planning and Development (CPAD) at the University of Tennessee at Martin is pleased to

announce this year’s inaugural Career Classic Golf Tournament, which will be held on Thursday, October 5,

2017, at the Persimmon Hill Golf Course in Sharon, TN to benefit the Career Development Programs at UTM.

The Office of Career Planning and Development works year-round to provide services to students in Martin,

TN and five branch campuses: Jackson, Parsons, Ripley, Selmer and Somerville. The purpose of the programs

of the CPAD office are to prepare students for the world of work and to assist employers in recruiting our

students for internships and full-time career opportunities. Since opening in the fall of 2016, the CPAD office

has worked with over 1000 students and 100 employers in the West Tennessee area.

Please join us for the 2017 Career Classic Golf Tournament to raise money to support UTM students through

CPAD programs and initiatives. We want to help students EXPLORE their career options, ENGAGE with the

community, gain EXPERIENCE through internships and ENHANCE their career readiness through the

development of job search skills and strategies. The tournament will include lunch and awards following your

day of golf with the Career Planning and Development staff.
