Care Highway International
CHRISTOPHER MORRISON, founder of Care Highway
International, was born and educated in England. He attended the
University of London, Greenwich campus, where he earned a
teaching degree in education. Chris has a Master’s degree in
peace and development.
He has worked in humanitarian aid and international development
for nearly 20 years. One of his first experiences was helping to
repatriate refugees in the former Yugoslavia as an undergraduate
student. After completing his education, he worked for several
NGOs during all the Bosnian wars. Eventually, his humanitarian
work took him to India, South Africa, Sweden, Central America,
Mexico, and Serbia. In 1997, he founded Care Highway in memory
of his brother who died while performing humanitarian work in
Bosnia.
Care Highway is a non-profit
humanitarian organization
which provides assistance to
people who are suffering from
catastrophes caused by man
or nature.
The newly built children’s home was completed in December 2009. There are now 21 children living there. Within the next few years, we hope to open the home to more children,
ages infancy to 18 years, who need our help.
Help us to help them.
Pictured is the new minivan bought with donations to help transport the children living at the new Children’s Home. The Home is located in a rural area with difficult access. The minivan will help connect the children to the closest towns. - Kenya 2010
