Option 1 – Carbon Man 2km swim / 40km bike / 16km run / 40km bike
Option 2 – Titanium Man 2km swim / 40km bike / 16km run / 40km bike / 16km run / 40km bike
Purpose: A good hard core training session at your own pace in race format and $270 cheaper than Half Ironman with no rules.
• Swim Course – Will be an out and back around a person on a surfboard, the surfboard will move in for the slower swimmers
• Hopefully have someone there to leave bikes out of cars • Cycle one lap / run one lap / cycle / etc • You Need to think about your bottle refills • BBQ to commence at end of Carbon Man – and should wind up when Titanium Man
finishes

Details…
• Leave Eastern Subs by 5.30am to arrive by 6.30am. Start will be at 6.45am roughly but do allow a good 50-60 min drive. Best to car pool, think there is a national park entrance fee…?
• We are moving one bay west from last time (this is the big car park at bottom of Akuna bay before nasty hill ascent) called Illawong bay

• Fully self supported, which means bring your own fluid and nutrition and lock if you want to lock bike between
• Rough timing is 6.45 start. Finish Carbon man 10.45 on basis that took sub 4hrs last time. Titanium Man finish roughly 1pm

• Cost is a non-profit making $30 and covers Tee shirt, BBQ, Beers and Cans of Coke on run course and at Car transition. Will need to firm up on commitment for Tee-shirts a week or so before and 2 days before for catering
• This is not a sanctioned race, so don’t invite any losers with issues.
