The constant strive for maximum productivity and profitability is an integral part of daily life in the automo-

tive industry. In addition, especially for automotive paint shops, today’s time is shaped by the careful use of

natural resources – energy, water, raw materials and supplies. In 2017 two conferences on car body painting

are devoted to high-quality body surfaces, special colour effects as well as the corresponding processes,

systems and legal constraints. Here, the Automotive Circle assembles the leading European and international

network of automotive car body painting engineers, and also provides newcomers to the field with the chance

Managing complexity is the key issue of automotive final assembly: it is characterized by a large num-

ber of individual processes, by increasing product variety, with its consequent high logistic demands, by

spatial limitations and by a low degree of automation. Significant progress in efficiency is then often the

result of many, seemingly small steps or the introduction of robot-assistance technologies, so-called

“human-robot-collaboration”. Achieving an efficient, intelligent, ergonomic deployment of highly motivat-

ed employees on the line – the most important asset in final assembly for every OEM – within an optimized

organizational structure, is a key route to innovation. Two Automotive Circle-conferences are devoted to

They can vary from conference to conference.

We kindly ask you to make your own hotel

reservation. Accommodation is available at the

conference hotels. Please refer to “Automotive

Circle”.

CONFERENCE FEES

All prices mentioned in this brochure are net

and subject to VAT. To reclaim, please contact

your local tax office. Please note that hotel

accommodation is not included in the

conference fees.

CONFERENCE LANGUAGES

Conferences will be translated simultaneously

into English and German (exceptions possible).

Please note, that the contents of lectures and

presentations at simultaneously interpreted

conferences are predominantly composed in

the English language. Seminars will only be held

in German.

CANCELLATIONS

Fees will be refunded in full if notice of

cancellation is received up to four weeks before

the conference. 50 % of the conference and

exhibitor fees will be refunded in case

notification of cancellation is received later, but

not later than two weeks before the conferen-

ce. Delegates who fail to attend without

notifying the organiser will be liable for the

whole conference and exhibitor fees.

Substitutions of delegates may be made at any

time. Cancellations and changes should be

notified in writing. In all cases postmark shall

apply. Any fees to be refunded will be paid after

the end of the conference. The organiser

reserves the right to change the programme

content or to cancel the event due to important

reasons. Cancellation fees of third parties that

may appear in this context will not be

reimbursed.
