• The built-in scanning tool enables photos and images to be turned into text.
• These can then be read aloud, saved or edited.Benefits:• Learners can independently capture text on
whiteboards, notices or paper documents and hear it read aloud.
• Learners can capture text in reading and text books, annotate in drawing apps before hearing it read aloud.

Using CapturaTalk to improve writing
• The Type & Speak tab offers basic a word processing environment with speech support.
• Speech with writing can be used to improve spelling and assist with proof reading.
• Text can be saved as a file, sent as an email, printed or saved to a phrase bank.
Benefits:• Users with poor spelling can use speech and word
prediction to enter and correct spelling independently.
• Reading back the text can assist users with reading difficulties to identify errors.
