Educational Impact of SPLOST• Summer 2019 was the biggest renovation
program in FCS history• $90 million expended – about a million
dollars a day• Over the summer, 40 schools received
renovations and/or health and safety upgrades, security enhancements, and physical education improvements thanks to SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax)
Local Economic Impact• Peak days employed over 1,200 people• Over 200 local firms participated
