About usAn initial group of 15 shareholders started in 2002 operations in South Africa. Their first successful realization was the renowned Whale Rock Development in Plettenberg Bay.
A subgroup of 5 main shareholders, each with vast real estate experience in countries such as Belgium, France, Poland, Spain, Romania, Brazil and the United States, decided in 2005 to further expand to other projects in Plettenberg Bay. In 2007 this group also initiated operations and projects in Port Elizabeth. Capeco was born.
The company has years of experience in getting complex zoning licenses, producing project concept plans, architectural designs & drawings, acquiring building permits and constructing residential apartments and houses. Its head office is based in Port Elizabeth with a satellite office in Plettenberg Bay.
Market FocusCapeco’s focus is primarily directed to vast residential projects, of which some have commercial extensions. The Whale Rock developments in Plettenberg Bay aredirected to the higher end of the market, compared to Port Elizabeth where our goal is to provide a combination of affordability with design, functionality and sustainability.
