The defence market has changed significantly over the last decade and will continue to

do so over the next ten years; likely to be influenced by a host of broader dynamics. The

Australian Government’s commitment to increase spending to 2% of GDP within a decade

indicates that capital expenditure is likely to increase over the next few years.

The operation and constraints of defence projects are unique from that of any other commission

type. Defence sites operate on an almost 24-hour basis, employ thousands of staff and have

hundreds of thousands of personnel passing through their facilities each year. The right environment

Using over ten years of experience in the construction industry, he provides extensive support to a variety of traditional projects using a wealth of expertise in cost planning, bills of quantities and contract cost management to deliver projects in the mining, oil & gas, education, defence, residential and health markets.

Andrew has strong experience in quantity surveying processes, including cost estimating, cost planning, bills of quantities, tax depreciation, compiling tender and contract documentation, tenderer selection and assessment, value management and post contract services such as progress claim assessment and certification, variation assessment and project management. His expertise spans defence, commercial office building, infrastructure, aged care, government, council and residential projects.

Peter brings over 30 years of knowledge and experience to the table, having successfully delivering both private and public funded projects from $250K to +$1B in the defence, commercial, educational, health, rail and residential property markets.

He provides professional hands on due diligence together with technical know-how and a thorough understanding of the commercial and contractual management of the construction and development industries. He believes that his value is measured by being a proactive member of high performance project teams providing independent and consistently accurate advice so as to facilitate low risk value for money project delivery.

Jim brings 40 years’ experience in the construction industry through involvement in a variety of defence, commercial, retail, residential and infrastructure projects. As a senior cost planner, Jim is well versed in the preparation of cost plans from high level conceptual to detailed tender estimates, and has been involved in the feasibility and master planning stages of many projects within Australia, and overseas.

Jim is technologically advanced in his approach, and ably assists in the delivery of our IT and systems projects.

With over 16 years practical experience in the cost and contract management of a range of construction projects, David provides a range of specialised services including the preparation of estimates, cost planning services, insurance valuations, fire reinstatement estimates, bills of quantities, builders quantities and asset valuations.

Utilising his extensive experience gained on various building projects including commercial, residential, retail, industrial, civil, fit-out and refurbishment work, David’s wealth of knowledge gained from previous projects and his wide range of project experience provides the skills and a solid base from which to provide Quantity Surveying services to a wide variety of projects.
