OVeRViEWnorwest Recruitment incorporating southwest recruitment provides premium-level recruitment services to companies located in north West and south West sydney. With two offices in sydney; Baulkham Hills and Wetherill Park, we are able to successfully service Greater Western sydney and are proud of owning one of the largest local databases, exceeding 50,000 local candidates.

norwest Recruitment started in 2002, and we currently have 20 employees. We have a dedicated administration team, including a Payroll manager and Finance manager. We also have a General manager and marketing manager as well as our managing Director who is hands on in the business.

We work with smes, large multi nationals, not for profit organisations and local government. We have dedicated specialised Consultants across sectors including; accounting and Finance, sales and marketing, Logistics & supply Chain, management and executive, Information technology

and administration and Business support.

We have specialised Permanent and temporary and Contract divisions and our Consultants live locally.

Our brand promise is to, “provide quality, responsive, ethical and consultative recruitment services to our clients. We value and respect innovation, approachability and ongoing education.”

We have a fill rate of 91% of all temporary job orders and we have placed over $200 million in permanent salaries.

OuR StORy

I could see that these well run, sometimes high profile organisations were looking for a professional recruitment service from a local company supplying the best local talent. and, the candidates wanted to work for these companies, seeing real career growth without the long commute to the city.

so, this local need gave me the vision and my recruitment background and training gave me the qualification, together with the incredibly talented people I’ve had the pleasure of working with, to create the recruitment service that I am very, very proud to call norwest Recruitment today.

and here I am, my twins 15 (and their little brother now too) with two strategically positioned offices – southwest Recruitment in Wetherill Park and norwest Recruitment in the norwest Business Park.

We are focused on improving the productivity of businesses by placing highly skilled candidates, fostering careers and giving back to the community that has welcomed us since July 2002.

In 2001, while I was on maternity leave with my newborn twin boys, I watched the norwest Business Park attract global, professional businesses with interest. I was also witnessing the incredible residential growth in the area. meanwhile I had a busy role in the recruitment industry waiting for me in the CBD.

I started researching and discovered there were already 30 recruitment agencies operating in the business park. Companies were also being serviced by internationally owned recruitment agencies from offices in Parramatta and the City but I was getting a sense that hiring managers and business owners weren’t happy with their service. they were sick of their temps turning up late because they were coming from across the other side of sydney and pulling out of their assignments half way through because they were offered something closer to them. they wanted local candidates and the local recruitment agencies didn’t seem to have the right due diligence, procedures, training and standards.

after having a successful Recruitment and management career in the city, erica started up norwest Recruitment in 2002.

since its’ inception, norwest Recruitment has been a multi award winning business, made the BRW Fast 100 list; ranked norwest Recruitment 47th fastest-growing small to medium-size business.

Erica then opened another office in Wetherill Park, Southwest Recruitment to service the clients in the south West of sydney, another high growth business and residential area. adding to her list of achievements, erica won the teC (the executive Connection) CeO of the year award in 2011 and is a judge for the annual telstra Business awards.

starting her Recruitment Career in 2010, sarah marie Fsadni quickly became an award winning Consultant. sarah marie has a large percentage of long term repeat customers which is an a testament to her ability and success.

sarah marie prides herself on her exceptional approach to understanding every client’s unique needs and indepth understanding of what each role requires. she is passionate about working within a specialist recruitment agency that can provide further challenges and enhance her skills.

some of the roles sarah marie recruits for day to day are; Cost accountants, Financial Controllers, Payroll managers, accountants, account Payables, accounts Receivables, assistant accountants, and Bookkeepers.

Barbara Price is a senior Recruitment executive with over twenty years of business and recruitment industry experience.

Barbara’s career has included business ownership of an executive Search firm that provided talent consulting, advisory and recruitment services to major corporate brands. In addition, Barbara has led Recruitment in well-known agency Brands covering niche and volume markets and also led HR, talent strategy and recruitment inside large corporations.

Laurie tomkins has 12 years experience in the recruitment industry, specialising in office support across the temporary and permanent divisions within Western sydney. Her dedication and commitment to understanding both candidates and clients requirements has led to many successful recruitment projects and repeat business.

Laurie has successfully placed thousands of candidates over many different industries including Local Government. she prides herself on building strong relationships, understanding business requirements and finding the right candidate every time. With her experience, loyalty and focus, Laurie strives to ensure she gives every client 100%, every time.

marcia has over 7 years Logistics and supply Chain experience and currently utilising this knowledge in recruitment for the past 4 years. marcia started her career in recruitment in 2012 achieving consultant of the month regularly, building long lasting professional relationships with her clients. marcia opened up her own Recruitment agency in south africa in 2014 and successfully grew this agency which is still in existence today. since relocating to australia, marcia is the senior Recruitment Consultant at southwest Recrutiment overseeing Recruitment within supply Chain and Logistics.

Harry “the Hunter” Khan has successfully built strong relationships with key decision makers in leading companies throughout Greater Western sydney. Harry picked up his nickname “the Hunter” from one of our clients due to his tenacious attitude to source the most suitable candidates in the marketplace.

Harry has vast knowledge across the FmCG, Customer service, Call Centre, Healthcare, Construction / engineering, manufacturing, and Professional services industries to name a few and is known to his clients and candidates as the recruiter that leaves no stone unturned to ensure he finds the best solution.
