TECHNICAL INFORMATION about films

Hereunder we brief some useful advice for the application of your films and vinyls, diffused by the main producers and by specific magazines:

DURATION: "Duration" means the period during which the material is outside vertically applicated and keeps all its original characteristics for which it was due to be used.Then, we inform you that the material horizontally applicated lasts less than half a duration.Tests on films and vinyls take place generally in Middle-Europe, and because of some external conditions they can decrease the life-span originally indicated by the producer, for example: southern position, curves and folds applications, self-washing, washing with no suitable products, oil contact, chemical agents and reactions, drastic temperature (ice, overheating), abrasion, treading on, and other types of treatment the material could be supposed.

What to do to improve the lasting of your decorations?

Choose the material more suitable for your needs. Please consult your supplier or make some tests ifyou may have doubts. Acclimatize the material, the products and the accessories you have to use.They have to be in the same temperature during the application. The best temperature required is between 18° and 25°C, in any case never lower than 10°C. Avoid from sudden changes.Check the surfaces for the application are well cleaned, with no solvent remains, silicone or other components. After the work, clean only with a soft cloth using water and few soap (non foamy).

How to store the films?

Keep the material in its original package, when rolls it is better they are stored vertically or in places when they can not be crushed. Avoid from sun light, heat, repeated changes in temperature and ground contact. The ideal storage temperature is between 18° and 35°C, never lower than 4°C or higher than 38°C and with humidity between 40% and 60%.We suggest your using the material within 24 months from the date of purchase or 18 months if they are metalized or reflective.

We underline that previous tests are necessary even for the best known and used materialsin order to verify they are suitable for the work we have to do.

1) The surface must be dry, clean and without dust before the application of magnetic film.

2) Keep the magnetic film stretched. Any foldings or bends could prejudice or limit the functionality. If you need to roll the magnetic film, it's important to assure that the front printed or the embossed patterns side is always outward-facing.

3) The magnetic film surface must be stretched, without ears on the edges.

4) Do not apply the magnetic films around pleatings or profile corners.

5) Remove the magnetic films before every washing (by hand or by automatic plant).

6) Any too much thick paint coats or plaster-work spaces on the bodywork of vehicles can limit the product functionality. It's important to check if the magnetic film is suitable for your use.

7) The magnetic film are provided with a protection sealing on the magnetized side. During the summer, with different temperatures or in case of film application on the bodywork of vehicles for more days, condense water could be present between surfaces withthe consequence that the film sticks to the vehicles paint. To avoid this incovenient, remove the magnetic film during the night or when it is not used.

8) During the day, remove the film at least one time and replace it. ATTENTION! In case of metallized or new paint, it's important to keep dry the magnetic film and the support surface, daily.

9) Clean the magnetic film with water only. Don't use solvent or liquid containing solvent. According to temperature, clean the film at least one time in a week. During the summer clean it every two days.

10) Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 55° (Celsius).

Manually operated self-perforating punching presses for the application of PLASTIC eyelets on a wide range of material, such as banners, PVC fabrics and foam PVC, light panels, cardboards, truck tarpaulins and many others. Times cut in half thanks to the simultaneous hole punching and grommet riveting in just one operation. Max. material thickness 3 mm.

Extremely versatile, pneumatic self-perforating machines for eyelets application on a wide range of material, such as banners, PVC fabrics and foam PVC, light panels from 3 to 5 mm thickness, cardboards, truck tarpaulins and many others. The machines punch a hole in the material and apply the grommet with just one operation.GHOST 600 is manually operated: you have to place the eyelet and the washer and lower a small handle to apply the eyelet. Pneumatic manual operation. GHOST 700 is equipped with a foot pedal that allows the operator to keep both hands free for remarkable savings in time. Diameter of the grommets: 8, 12, 16 mm by changing the dies.Throat depth 100 mm.
