OPEN ENROLLMENT REGISTRATIONS 2014/15

If you have received your open enrollment acceptance letter please return your registration papers to the school office as soon as possible. It is important to get the registration papers turned in to ensure proper staffing.

Canyon View’s got Talent! Friday May 9th

The talent show is near!  Rehersals will be Tuesday April 15th in the MPR. ART SHOW

Dear Canyon View FamiliesPlease join us Friday, April 18th from 6-7:30 pm for our annual Art Show!  The event will take place int he MPR building and feature artwork from all students in grades K-5.  We hope to see you there!

Volunteers are welcomed for art show set up Thursday, April 17th beginning at 3:15 and for taking down the artwork immediately following the event.  For additional information, or if you are available to volunteer please contact Ms. Romero at [email protected]

Now that the warm weather is here, make sure to send a water bottle with your student. Also, just a reminder to review the dress code. students should not be wearing flip flops, spaghetti straps or shorts that are too short.

Notification of Pest Control

State Law (House Bill 2135, Chapter 102) requires the school district to notifyparents, legal guardians, and employees 48 hours prior to pest/weed controltreatments.In accordance with these requirements, Essential Pest, vendor for pesticidetreatment, will visit our school once month to inspect building exteriors, kitchenareas, and restrooms, and to perform pest control treatments of those areas, asrequired. Our current pest control program does not include pesticideapplications inside classrooms. Such applications are performed only if infestationoccurs. Essential Pest will treat Canyon View on the third Tuesday of each month.

Additional information may be obtained from the Environmental Health and SafetyOffice at the district office at 299-6446.
