Camp de la BaieSambro Head, HRMFor Core French and French Immersion Students Ages 10–14 yearsA thirty minute drive from the Armdale Rotary, Camp de la Baie is located in Sambro Head. Campers stay in one of seven heated cabins in Spruce Grove Village. Cabins sleep up to 14 campers with personal washrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Activities will include swimming, soccer, basketball, canoeing, gaga ball, hiking, drama, arts, and crafts.

CAMP FRANTASTIQUEBarton, Digby CountyFor Core French and French Immersion Students Ages 10–14 yearsCamp Frantastique is located near Digby, NS. This is a smaller camp with a beach and roped-off swimming area. Set on the shores of Porters Lake, Camp Frantastique off ers a range of activities including swimming, canoeing, sports and crafts. In the evening, there are skit nights, musical performances and campfi res. Campers sleep in cabins with assigned counsellor.

FRANCO-FORUMSt. Pierre, FranceFor French Immersion StudentsAges 14–18 yearsDon’t miss this exciting opportunity to visit France right on our doorstep. Students in French immersion can participate in a cultural visit to the French island of St Pierre. Students stay with host families while they experience life on the island and participate in workshops/activities at the FrancoForum. Teens contemplating a European or Quebec school exchange will love this great introduction. Group will leave from Stanfi eld Halifax Airport with chaperones.

NAUTIcAL CAMPÎles-de-la-Madeleine/Magdalen Islands, QuébecFor French Immersion StudentsAges 12–16 yearsCampers are immersed in the culture and language of the island, while enjoying activities such as sailing, windsurfi ng, swimming, cycling, archery and canoeing. Campers stay in supervised dormitories at the Centre Nautique de l’Istorlet.

SEA KAYAKING ADVENTURE CAMPÎles-de-la-Madeleine/Magdalen Islands, QuébecFor French Immersion StudentsAges 15-17 yearsThe Sea Kayakers go on a 5-day wilderness adventure accompanied by professional instructors. By day, they discover birds, whales and seal colonies as they explore caves, cliff s and tunnels. By night, they set up camp in the sand dunes as they rest for their next exciting day of adventure.
