Can i take someone with me when filing bankruptcy?

I know that it is strict when entering the federal building. Can I go inside theere with my fiance if he is filing for bankruptcy. Cause they asking why are you there.. Can I go with him or only him because he is the only one who has business to take care of there. Thanks
