THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THE CAMSTICK WITH NIGHT VISION Please read this manual before operating the camstick with night vision and keep it handy. The CamstickNV looks and functions like an ordinary flash drive, yet this storage camstick conceals a DVR capable of recording both audio and quality color video. The flash drive needs no cables or batteries, making perfect for the covert operative on the go. It doesn't need to be plugged in. Recording is as simple as a touch of the button. This model records 1280*960 resolution video to a MicroSD card that can range from 2GB–128GB. You can choose between continuous recording, taking photographs, and using night vision. The built-in battery can last up to 1.5 hours. Your purchase should include: 1 x Camstick with Night Vision 1 x USB Cable 1 x 8GB MicroSD Card 1 x Instruction Booklet

OPERATING THE CAMSTICK WITH NIGHT VISION IMPORTANT NOTICE: Allow the Camstick to charge 4 – 6 hours before using. HOW TO CHARGE THE CAMSTICK
1. Plug the Camstick’s USB into the USB jack on the USB cable. 2. Plug the USB cable into your PC or in to a 5v USB AC adapter
(not included). 3. We recommend charging the Camstick for 4 - 6 hours.
HOW TO RESET THE TIME AND DATE STAMP 1. Insert a MicroSD card into the Camstick. 2. Plug the Camstick into your PC using the USB cable.
The Camstick will vibrate. 3. Turn on the Camstick. 4. Locate “Removable Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder.
Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk
5. Open the Removable Disk drive. 6. Right click with your mouse. 7. Scroll down to “New”. 8. Click “Text Document”. 9. Rename “New Text Document” as “TIME”.
The title must be in all capital letters!

10. Open the text document. 11. Enter the current date in Year-Month-Day format. 12. Enter the current time in military format.
Example: 2013.05.23 16:37:50
13. Save the text document. 14. Unplug the Camstick from your PC.
The Camstick will vibrate twice.

HOW TO TURN ON THE CAMSTICK 1. Push and hold the Power button for about 2 seconds.
The light will turn red/blue. The Camstick will vibrate. The light will turn red. The Camstick is now in standby mode.
HOW TO TURN OFF THE CAMSTICK
1. Push and hold the Power button for about 2 seconds. The red/blue light will blink two times. The Camstick will vibrate two times. The light will turn off. The Camstick is now off.
HOW TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS
1. Put the Camstick in standby mode. 2. Push the Camera button.
The red light will blink off. The Camstick will vibrate. The red light will blink on.
HOW TO RECORD VIDEO
1. Put the Camstick in standby mode. 2. Push and hold the Video button.
The red light will blink two times. The Camstick will vibrate two times. The Camstick is now recording live video. Every 3 minutes, the Camstick will automatically save
the video file and start a new recording.
IMPORTANT NOTE: When the SD card fills up, the newest files will start replacing the oldest files. Frequently copy files from the Camstick to your PC to prevent this.
3. Push the Video button.
The red light will blink three times. The Camstick will vibrate three times.
HOW TO USE NIGHT VISION
1. Put the Camstick in standby mode. 2. Push the Night Vision button.
If you look at the night vision lamp, you should see a red reflection.
HELPFUL TIP: If you have a Smartphone, such as an iPhone or Android phone, you can use the front-facing camera to check the night vision lamp. Open the camera on your Smartphone and switch to the front-facing camera (you can see yourself on the screen) and point the night vision lamp at the camera. You should see the lamp lit up like a small flashlight.

RETRIEVE THE FILES TO YOUR PC
1. Plug the Camstick into your PC using the USB cable. 2. Locate “Removable Disk” inside the (My) Computer folder.
AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open folder to view files

Go to Start > Computer > Removable Disk
3. Open the Removable Disk drive. 4. Open the DCIM folder. 5. Open the 100DSCIM folder.
6. Double click the file you want to view. VLC Player is recommended for watching videos.
TROUBLESHOOTING
THE CAMSTICK WON’T TURN ON
Charge the Camstick for at least 4 hours before the first use. Make sure the charging cable is securely inserted into the
Camstick and into the power source. THE CAMSTICK ISN’T CHARGING
Replace the charging cable. If you are charging via a wall power source, you may need to
charge via your PC. THE CAMSTICK HAS CRASHED
You need to reset the Camstick by pressing the reset button. MY COMPUTER DOESN’T RECOGNIZE THE CAMSTICK
Unplug the Camstick from your PC and reboot the Camstick. Unplug the Camstick from your PC and reboot your PC. Try using a different USB slot on your PC. Replace the USB cable.
THE SOUND OR VIDEO IS UNCLEAR
The Camstick needs charging. THE RED/BLUE LIGHT BLINKS FOR 3 SECONDS AND THEN SHUTS DOWN
The storage is full. o Cut and paste the files from the Camstick to your PC.
THE RED LIGHT BLINKS 3 TIMES AND THEN SHUTS DOWN
The battery is low. Please charge the device.
