Week of April 19–26, 2020 Virtual President’s Day of Service Kickoff On April 18, we celebrated our year of service together through the first-ever virtual President’s Day of Service. The day consisted of sharing the service Viterbo community members have been working on to improve their communities, celebrating some highlights of our year together, and promoting some of our local agencies and resources. The day saw more than 30 submissions from folks all around the region and saw even more community connection through Facebook. We estimate at least 50 people participated in the service that was shared with us, while even more were celebrating each other’s impact on Facebook. We estimate our group contributed more than 600 masks, knitted 50 5-inch squares, delivered more than 220 cards and letters, and served more than 50 meals to people in need. The map above shows each city that “hosted” a service project as part of our virtual President’s Day of Service. Campus Ministry Online We at Campus Ministry hope you are having a productive and joyful end to this not-so-typical semester. We have several exciting events planned as we wrap up these next few weeks, and we invite you to join us. Agape Latte: We are excited to be able to continue our Agape Latte series in virtual format. Join us as we virtually broadcast the personal story of Rick Trietley, vice president for student affairs, to hear his journey, lessons he’s learned through times of crisis in both his military career and life in general, mindset for success, etc. This event will be broadcast at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 29. We are encouraging students to submit questions they would like Rick To view this email as a web page, go here.
