Seneca College
With 90,000 part-time and 17,000
full-time students currently
studying at five Toronto-area
campuses, Seneca College is
Canada’s largest college.
World-Class Education
Seneca offers more than 150 full-
time and 140 part-time programs,
as well as five bachelor degree
programs, and it boasts the
largest enrolment of international
students attending college in
Canada.
Technological Overhaul
Seneca became an ITC Systems
customer more than 20 years ago
with the purchase of its first campus
card system. But the college had
evolved substantially over the years,
and college administrators felt it
was time for a major overhaul of its
campus card technology.
Why ITC Systems?
Because of the durability of the ITC
Systems hardware components,
the flexibility of the company’s
software, and the high level of
service the company had provided
consistently over the years, Seneca
asked ITC Systems to come up with
a new solution for them.
What Was Involved?
ITC Systems implemented a
Mifare Contactless Card system
that runs with the ITC Systems
Multiplan Matrix Manager.
Multiplan is a program with
extensive capabilities.
OneCard Capabilities
Seneca’s OneCard system is fully
integrated with library,
photocopy and print services at
the college, as well as all other
Point of Sale services.
LED Screens
One of the highlights of the project
has been the instsallation of 55 new
42-inch LED signs in Seneca’s food
service areas. A system administrator
can schedule a week’s worth of high-
resolution messages into the system
at the start of the week, saving time
and effort.
Parking and Shuttle Buses
Using their OneCard, students can
purchase flexible parking passes
tailored to their schedule. These
purchases are automatically linked to
their account in Precise Parklink. With
the tap of a card, they can also board
the buses that shuttle between
Seneca’s five campuses.

ITC Systems provides supportive
