Trace-Pitman Greenway follows Little Pitman Creek and Trace Creek. The trail offers beautiful views of the woods and meadows along the creeks and has picnic tables and benches spread throughout making it a perfect spot for the whole family to enjoy. Frequently used by joggers, walkers, and bicyclists, you may also see deer or great blue heron while out on the greenway.

50 cfsBase release level, low water conditions, tranquil flows, perfect for families and beginners. Paddlers will likely need to get out and drag boats over shallow shoals.
150 cfsIdeal release level for fishing and also for leisurely paddling, but with enough water to float over shallow shoals.
200 cfs Still fishable, but a little pushy. Good level for straight paddling.
300 cfs Too swift for effective fishing, but fine for straight paddling.

The Green River Wildlife Management area contains 21,037 acres of
relatively steep slopes with oak-hickory forests, flat bottomlands
and ridge tops with mixed hardwood forests. There are cleared
areas with agricultural crops, warm and cool season grass and “old
field succession” habitats.
Hunters will experience a rewarding day afield pursuing white-tailed
deer, waterfowl, quail, rabbits, wild turkey, woodcock, ducks, and
squirrels. The area is open under statewide regulations although
there are some expectations.

Electric motors only. Anglers will enjoy fishing from the shore. Swimming is not permitted.

walleye, white, largemouth, small mouth, and Kentucky

various locations around the lake and two public fishing piers
which are located at Pier 1 and the Smith Ridge Recreation
Area. Pikes Ridge Campground also has a fishing pier but is
for campers use only.
