Over the last 17 years of being in the northeast Phoenix/Scottsdale area, my three children have probably attended just about every possible summer camp offered across a wide range of camp types, locations and providers. NEVER in this nearly two-decade history have I had a child as STOKED and HAPPY about camp as we did this summer with Rancho's camp. My daughter attended every session and BEGGED us to drop her off as early as possible and stay as late as possible. She had an absolute blast, loved all of the camp counselors/instructors and really got into each of the different camps - from developing a business plan and her first website to cooking lots of different things to sports camp. Whatever you did this summer to make this camp so good, PLEASE keep it up. We will be back next year!

This is the BEST camp that Rancho has ever offered- and we've done a lot of Rancho camps. My daughter happily hops out of the car each morning, excited for what the day holds. She very often asks if she can be picked up late because she just loves every minute that she spends at camp. She has done Fish Tank, Cooking, Sports, and soon will do MythBusters. I love the variety.

Led by our experienced and dynamic staff full of teacher/early childhood counselors and aquatic instructors, Day Camp offers a new and exciting theme each week throughout the summer. Features of Day Camp are daily swim instruction, along with a wide variety of exciting, hands-on activities, including sports activities, art, science, music/drama and much more!

Day Camp is specially designed for our 3 to 6 year old campers who are ready to explore new themes while simply having fun! Surrounded by positive and energetic environment, Day Campers are exposed to a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where campers may simply create, imagine and make new friends on a daily basis.

Day Camp offers a new weekly theme so campers may continue to enroll and enjoy a fresh subject each week. We understand the importance of offering new and exciting weekly programs so campers may enroll for multiple weeks, if not the entire summer.

NOTES: - All Day Campers Must Be Fully Potty Trained To Attend Day Camp- Day Camp aims for a 6:1 camper-to-counselor ratio while engaging in general classroom activities and a 3:1 camper-to-lifeguard ratio for our instructional swim programming.- Day Campers receive a complimentary snack (daily) and summer camp T-shirt.

Each week Xpedition Camp centers on a new exciting discovery theme that broadens campers’ horizons. Additional activities throughout the week include daily open swim, and leadership and team-building activities. Popular special events include instruction on the Rock Wall and other challenges focused on the weekly theme.

Under the supervision of an experienced Rancho Summer Camp adult staff, campers have fun developing new skills, exploring new interests, building self-confidence, and growing in ways that benefit campers long after the summer is over.

Xpedition Camp is designed for the 7 to 11 year old who enjoys specialized project-based adventures and participating in advanced challenges. Xpedition campers explore engineering, art and technology while joining in leadership and team-building initiatives. Programs include Disney™ Leadership Adventures, 3D Printing, Lego™ Robotics, Intro to Entrepreneurship (Fish Tank), MythBusters™ and more.

The Sport & Games program promotes the development of athletics, leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, self-confidence, and most of all, fun. Designed for boys and girls ages 7 to 9, Sports & Games Camp caters to the athletic ability level of each camper including beginner, intermediate and experienced campers. This tournament-style camp program includes skill competitions, championship events, creative play, relay races and pool games.

Each week campers are divided into evenly matched teams to participate and compete in contests and games all will enjoy. Each day campers have the opportunity to participate in our free-swim program. Each week concludes with exciting Rancho Summer Camp Friday Field Day competitions followed by an end-of-camp award ceremony recognizing and honoring all of our participating teams. Effort over Results is the philosophy upon which the Rancho Sports & Games Camp was built. Safety, fair play, fun, and a positive learning environment are the priorities of the program.

Sports & Games Camp is for the camper who loves athletics and friendly competition, but doesn’t want to focus on one particular sport. This camp is fun and action-packed; combining a mix of team sports with swimming. Our Rancho Rock Climbing Wall, the Sports & Games Olympics and a special event featured each week are revered among all campers!
