Greetings Brothers,

It’s been with great pleasure to have the privilege of serving this

Lodge. Whether I am assisting one of the Lodge Officers with

some task, or working in the kitchen, I get a feeling of satisfaction

that I am doing something to support this lodge. The time spent

with Brothers practicing degree work, or training, always leads to

a sense of fellowship that is always gratifying.

I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out to our newest broth-

ers, especially those coming through the degrees. I know It’s a

little intimidating, joining the oldest, most prestigious fraternal

organization in the world, while not really knowing many people.

It took me a few years to find my place in this lodge, little by lit-

tle, making connections that slowly developed into friendships

with many other brothers. I finally came to realize that all it took

was a smile, or a handshake, and a little small talk to break the ice

with many of the brothers. We were all there once ourselves.

It also took a commitment to make the time to participate. I have

come to learn that the most valuable thing I can give anyone is my

time. So I give time to my lodge, and all its worthy brothers not

only because I am obligated to do so, but because I know that it

will come back in dividends later. Service to this lodge is service

to my brothers, both those who are here, and those yet to come.

The world needs Masons now more than ever. Your lodge needs

you now more than ever as we continue to grow.

So please make every effort to come to the dinners, come to train-

ing, and spend some time in the kitchen and eating dinner with the

other brothers. Your efforts will be rewarded with the friendship

and comradely you desire, that which our fraternity is so willing

to give.

I look forward to seeing you soon

Anthony R DiMauro Jr

Junior Steward.

your copy of the Trestle Board by email.

Win A Perpetual

Membership! Series 2!!

Only 80 tickets will be sold! Tickets are $25,

and you can purchase more than 1 ticket (depending on

availability).

Members of other Lodge’s can play, but a maximum

value of $1600.00 will be awarded for a Perpetual

Membership in their particular Lodge.

These tickets are selling fast, and the odds are great!

We will hold the drawing when all 80 tickets have sold.

Tickets can be purchased at any Manatee Lodge

meeting, or by mailing a check to Manatee Lodge No.

31, F&AM to P.O. Box 9304, Bradenton, FL 34206. Your

ticked will be issued as soon as your check is received,

and sent to you by return mail.

Win An Annual Membership!

Raffle tickets are on sale at the Tyler's station at every

Stated or Called meeting of Manatee Lodge. 50 tickets

will be sold at $2.00 each, and then a drawing for that

batch of 50 tickets will be the same evening if it is a

Stated Communication, or if it is a Called Communica-

tion, the drawing will be held at the next Stated Meet-

ing. Prize is a certificate redeemable for the following

year’s dues ($80.00 value). For example, tickets cur-

rently being sold are for 2017 dues, and ongoing raffles

for 2017 dues will continue until dues notices for 2017

are mailed out in October of 2016. After that date raf-

fles will continue, but will be for certificates redeem-

able for 2018 dues. In addition, because of the low

value of each ticket, records of individual sales will not

be maintained as in the Perpetual Membership raf-

fles. Therefore, the winning ticket holder MUST present

his stub to win. If he cannot produce the ticket stub

after the drawing or within 30 days of publication of the

winning ticket number in the Trestle Board, the drawn

ticket will be considered void, and a new ticket will be

drawn from that same batch.
