THE TEA CEREMONY
1. Boil kettle, pour water into tea pot.
2. Swirl water around pot to warm it, then pour out.
3. Add loose tea to pot.
4. Add freshly boiling water to pot; allow to brew for a few minutes while tea cozy is placed on pot to keep tea warm.
5. Add milk to teacups before tea is poured.
6. Place tea strainer over top of cup to catch tea leaves.
7. Serve tea to guests, who may sugar to their taste.
8. Ensure pot holds enough tea so as not to be empty after filling cups. Replace tea cozy after everyone has been served.
