FALL CLEAN-UPAfter the leaves are raked and grass mowed for the final time, there are other fall clean up tasks to be wrapped up around the house. But, don’t forget the office! Think of a fall tidying up as taking a look back at 2020, critiquing what worked and didn’t work as far as marketing strategies. If a postcard mailing performed well, look at options to capitalize on those tactics when competitors aren’t. Take a big-picture look at your website traffic. Was there one idea that didn’t preform great but should be revisited? Did we miss a promo item we should have pushed but didn’t? In regards to educational content, did things change this past year internally to create positives? One thing about the challenges of 2020 was figuring out the best way to nurture leads. Fall can be a perfect time to not only answer internal strategy questions, but to follow up with every lead. We all want big results, but take time to look backwards, clean up, recycle ideas, then storm forward with confidence with better targeted actions.

Another idea is to invite a local baker/chef to host a demonstration online for your employees. It also wouldn’t hurt to have a bottle of wine nearby if the flour gets messy.
