Technical Checklist:
Do your images meet the following requirements?
Title your images in the following way:LASTNAME_firstname_artworktitle_yearcreated_image list number
Acceptable file formats: pdf or jpg files
Image files should be around 500 kbs and no larger than 1MB each
Crop your images, and use similar relative dimentions to the final output of 32.5” wide x 38.5” high
Please remove any crop marks, extraneous objects, or backgrounds
Submission
I confirm that once selected, my artwork can be scaled-up to the maximum output dimensions (32.5” wide x 38.5” high) at 300dpi.
If your artwork is selected, you acknowledge this is temporary display and the artwork may be subject to wear and tear from age, environmental elements, and vandalism. The City retains the right to alter, remove or relocate the Public Art if the installation site is required for purposes deemed necessary or expedient by the City.
If your artwork is selected, you are giving the City permission to reproduce images of it for promotion and documentation purposes only. If your artwork appears in any publication issued by the City, you will be given credit as the creator. You acknowledge that your artwork is installed in public space and as such, the City is not responsible for members of the public taking images of it.
