The RUNSUD conference (Rencontres de recherche UNS–UD
conference) is the periodic conference between University of Nice
Sophia Antipolis and The University of Danang for co-interested
topics. Began in 2010, this conference has been attracted hundreds
of scientists from the two universities and others. It provides an open
forum for intensive discussions and exchange of the latest advances
in science, technology and research collaboration.
The 3rd RUNSUD will be held at The University of Danang in 21-22
April, 2016. The topics of the conference include (but are not limited
to):
- Related areas to e-Health
- Biomedical devices/robotics
- Biomedical imaging/ signal processing
- Embedded systems
- Sensor development and testing
- Communication systems
- Ambient intelligence services
- Extraction, organization and treatment of knowledge
- Human-machine interaction
Papers are invited from prospective authors with interests in the
indicated conference topics and related areas of applications. The
conference language is English. Submitted papers should be prepared
in English (preferred) or Vietnamese following required format and
not exceed 5 pages in length. Accepted papers will be published in
The University of Danang Journal of Science & Technology. All
contributions must be original, unpublished, and not submitted for

RUNSUD Article Text Requirements and Guidelines
1. UD’s Journal of Science and Technology agrees to publish only genuine articles written with practical and scientific values in the fields of science and technology, which have not yet been published in any other journal or magazine before. 2. The article should not exceed 5 pages and should be a uniform manuscript typed in the UNICODE font with size 10 on pages (190mm x 265mm), including figures, charts, diagrams and reference materials. The upper indent is 1cm, the bottom indent 1cm, the left indent 1cm and the right indent 1cm. The space between lines is single and the space between paragraphs is 3 cm. The body of the article consists of 2 columns with a middle space of 0.5cm. 3. The following contents should be included in the article: 3.1. Abstract: This should be written both in English and in Vietnamese (for Vietnamese authors),
about 150 words in length and it needs to present all the basic results and ideas of the article. It should be followed by a “New Words” section containing at least 5 words or phrases.
3.2. Introduction: This should reflect the current research conditions in the country and throughout the world.
3.3. Solutions: 3.4. Study Results and Comments: 3.5. Conclusions: 3.6. References: 4. The references deal with only the quoted materials of the article in the following order: 4.1. For the materials quoted from books, theses and reports, the order is arranged as follows:
The author’s, publisher’s name, the title of the book (thesis or report), publishing-house, and publishing year.
4.2. For the materials quoted from articles, the order is arranged as follows: The author’s name, the title of the article, the name of the journal, volume (No.), publishing-house, and publishing year, page number (from page … to page …)
5. The journal accepts only clearly-typed articles with clear charts and figures, in appropriation to the text requirements (both printed manuscripts and files). The articles which are not accepted for publication will not be returned to the authors. 6. The author’s full name, address, telephone number, email and signature should be added below the article. 7.
