A 2010 Kia Soul driven by McKenna J. Gregory, 21, of Selinsgrove, was traveling north on Smalsh Barrick Road. As the vehicle crested a hill it traveled slightly off of the east side of the roadway be- fore traveling across both lanes of travel, off the west side of the roadway where it hit an embankment before rolling onto its roof where it came to final rest in the southbound lane. Roger Lee Moyer, 61, of Bea- vertown, discovered a power cord had been run from his garage to a rental property. It is unknown when the power cord was connected and who connected it. During the altercation, the 38 year old male struck the 12 year old male in the face three times causing swelling, cuts, and bleeding. Bad Checks 8 a.m. August 19, at Mull’s Auto Sales, at 360 Clif- ford Road, in Penn Township. A known male provided Mull’s Auto Sales with a check for $500 that was returned for non- sufficient funds. Bad Checks Between 8 a.m.-11 p.m. July 29, at GA Trans- port, in Monroe Township. GA Transport received a check from a RPM Performance employee out of Florida for delivering a vehicle to them. The check was returned due to non-sufficient funds. The investigation continues. Crash 8:17 a.m. November 1, on SR 522, at 492 feet west of Lisalyn Road, in Penn Township. A 2014 Toyota Corolla driven by Cindy D. Clotfelter, 54, of Middleburg, was traveling south on SR 522. The vehicle struck a deer with its front end. After impact, the vehicle pulled onto the shoulder of the roadway and came to rest facing south. No injuries were reported.
