A brief history

On 23rd June 1994, a seed was planted. It was nurtured and tended

by caring and dedicated hands. This plant Vedavalli Vidyalaya -

has fully grown and matured in the last sixteen years.

Vedavalli Vidyalaya provides a child friendly environment and has

created an atmosphere of freedom, happiness and joy conducive

to learning. Its entire curriculum centres around the child and his /

her needs.

Aims and Philosophy

Vedavalli Vidyalaya -

Aims at providing a sound, all-round education, to promote the

Special features of the School

1. Assembly is held in the morning for KG,Primary, Secondary and

High School, focusing on various topics each day. Exposure

Assemblies are held for the Seniors on a variety of topics.

Story telling forms a part of the Junior School Assembly.Students of Classes III to VIII participate in Chorus Singing

once a week.

2. Innovative methods of teaching are used to make learning

easy, exciting and meaningful. Play Way Learning is used

for the Kindergarten.

3. The Science and Maths labs provide the facilities for Learning

by Doing for the Primary Classes.

4. Audio equipment is provided in the Language Lab, to

develop and enhance reading and speaking skills.

5. Computer Education is an integral part of the curriculum

starting from Class I.

6. The school has a well stocked Central Library as well as

Class Libraries to encourage reading habit and develop a

love for books in children.

7. Learning is supplemented by Exposure trips, Audio-visual Aids

and Workshops.

8. Individual attention to every child is ensured by limiting the

Class strength.

9. Balance between scholastic and non-schlastic activities is

maintained in the School. The School nurtures in the children

Payment of Fees to be made in the months of

June, October and January

Late admission and withdrawal procedures

When a child is admitted in the middle of the year, admission

fees and the fees for the term during which admission is made

and the consecutive terms, has to be paid.

If a student is withdrawn from the school in the middle of the year,

all fees due to the school till the end of the term has to be paid.

If a student is to be withdrawn from the school at the end of the

academic year, notification for such withdrawal must be made

in writing to the Principal before 15th of March. If applied after

this date, I Term fees for the next year has to be paid.

Transfer Certificates will be issued, after the receipt of

application for withdrawal, on payment of Rs. 50. Transfer

Certificates will not be issued in the month of May.
