25th YEAR MHPS ANNIVERSARY ARTWORK!

I am so excited to announce that as part of the 25th Year Anniversary Celebrations for MHPS, each student will be creating a piece of Artwork.

This will involve drawing a self-portrait of yourself onto a 10X10cm white tile with special porcelain markers. To cover the cost of this, we are asking each student to bring a gold coin and give it to their classroom teacher. I hope you will do your best work, as it will be a lasting display at the school for all to look at. I can’t wait to see all of your beautiful and interesting designs! Thank you! Mrs. Contessa

From Wednesday 26th July to Tuesday 19th September, we are collecting Woolworths Earn & Learn Stickers. You will get one Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker for every $10 spent (excluding liquor, tobacco and gift cards). Place the Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker onto a Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker Sheet and when it’s complete, the Sticker Sheet can be dropped into the Collection Box here at the school office area. At the end of the promotion, we’ll be able to get some great new equipment. The range is extensive and offers lots of items ideal for our students – including resources for Maths, English, Science and some fantastic fun supplies for Arts & Craft and Sport . 2017 Semester 1 Parent (Guardian/Carer) Teacher Meeting On Thursday 29th June, the 2017 Semester 1 Parent (Guardian/Carer) Teacher Meeting was held and it was wonderful to see so many families come up to the school to attend the meeting to discuss the progress of their child’s learning and to collect their child’s Report. If you were unable to attend the Parent (Guardian/Carer) Teacher Meeting on Thursday 29th June 2017, could you please contact your child’s Home Group Teacher to make an arrangement to collect your child’s report. THE REPORT WILL NOT BE GIVEN OUT TO THE STUDENT, UNLESS CONTACT HAS BEEN MADE WITH THE HOME GROUP TEACHER.

25th Celebration Festival

2017 is our 25th year as a school and to celebrate we will be holding a festival on the 18th of November at the school. If you are able to assist in any way please contact the office. We are very excited about this event and hope you are able to attend, support the school and celebrate our 25 years.

We are all very excited as we are having our 25th celebration this year. The school was officially opened on the 7th of November 1992. So that all past students, staff, parents and friends can celebrate with us we are planning a spectacular festival. This will be on Saturday 18th of November. Hope you can join in our festivities.
