Mental Image of a Gentoo Penguin

Swish ! Swish is the sound of my brush as I paint for you a metal image of a Gentoo Penguin. Lets start with those funny looking feet . So I always thought that a penguin walked like a duck. It’s because they both have webbed feet. Watch him swim and know he is a powerful and graceful swimmer, because of there powerful wings. So the wings also help them steer through the water to catch krill, squid and smaller fish. He uses his so range-red bill to catch those fish. It’s funny that this fat bird can move so fast through the water because it looks like a black and white torpedo. They are also a vertebrate. Now do you have a mental image.

• Very close to the leopard seal

Food Chain

Algae is eaten by krill . Krill is eaten by Squid. A Squid is eaten by a Gentoo Penguin. A Gentoo penguin is eaten by leopard seal. A leoperd is eaten by a killer whale.

It takes 34-36 days until the egg hatches and the parents stay with them for 35 days and then they are free.

Save the Artic

Swish and smack as people litter the streets and waters . Please don’t do this it’s hurting life cycle,

animal habitats and Antarctica by throwing trash in the water . Pollution is melting the artic ice and killing baby’s and adults and we need to save them because it’s God’s creation. Please do not pollute or litter.
