Calamar Connection 2015 It’s hard to believe another year has come and gone already. 2015 was an exciting year for Calamar as we celebrated our 25th year in business! We are very fortunate, blessed and proud to have had continuous success all these years and to

have grown our organization into what it is today. We had several celebrations commemorating our milestone anniversary with our valued and talented employees locally in Wheatfield, NY, in the Mid-west and our Massachusetts team, as well as our clients, vendors and numerous business alliances that have contributed to our sustainability. We look forward to serving our clients and tenants for the next 25 years and beyond! Thank you for your trust and support in Calamar!

SENIOR RESIDENCE PORTFOLIO CONTINUES TO GROW!

Calamar continues to develop, build and manage independent senior communities in the Northeast and Midwest. We have most recently completed or have currently under construction, communities in Jamestown, NY, Bedford, NH, Concord, NH, Ankeny, IA, Indianola, IA, Olathe, Kansas, Independence, MO, Londonderry, NH. We also have numerous projects under development. Calamar strives to make each project better than the last, and to make these communities truly HOME for our residents. We currently have eight in the Midwest, and eight in the Northeast area, with several other properties in the works. All our apartment homes are market rate, independent

living featuring both one and two bedrooms. Each community has activities and events constantly going on which provides our seniors with a wonderful place to call home, living with their peers and more often than not, engaging in social activities that were not available to them while living in their single family homes.

Calamar Connection 2015 Calamar team members show support for those affected by breast cancer! Calamar went PINK in the month of October on Fridays. It was just a small gesture to bring awareness to this disease that affects so many women (and men too!).

Construction Corner

Calamar construction has been very busy with our own portfolio projects as well as third party client buildings. We are very thankful for the confidence entrusted to Calamar to bring our clients dreams to reality. Two current projects include the recent completion of Fichte, Endl & Elmer Eyecare’s new, 22,000 S.F. state-of-the-art offices and stand alone ambulatory center, the only one in Niagara County.

Another project we’re busy building is Ebenezer Apartments for DePaul Community Services. Prior to construction starting, there was a large building that we first had to demolish. This 100-unit apartment community is in West Seneca and is 102,000 S.F., 3-story structure with one and two bedroom apartments. Work is expected to be complete Summer 2016.

Our Hospitality division is going full throttle with three projects currently underway. Calamar Construction is currently building a 93-room Holiday Inn Express, in Altoona, PA., a 93-room Hampton Inn in Oxford, ME, and a 61-room Best Western Plus in Hammondsport, NY. Calamar has also recently been awarded and is expecting to break ground on FIVE project for 2016! The 101-room Home2 by Hilton in Smithfield, RI, The 84-room Home2 in Syracuse, NY, the 143-room Hilton Garden Inn in Dobbs Ferry, NY, the 75-room Sleep Inn & Suites in Monroe, NY and lastly, the 84-room Country Inn & Suites in Niagara Falls!
