Weather• Weatherisgenerallyhotanddryduringthedaywithgoodhumidityrecoveryatnighthelpedbythecoastal
onshoreflow.Thisusuallyallowsforgoodprogressduringnighttimelineconstruction.Ifyouareunabletogetacontainmentlinearoundafireduringthefirstburningperiodorby10:00hoursthefollowingmorning,yourchancesofholdingthefiretheseconddaydiminishconsiderablyduetostrongafternoononshorewinds.
• Summerdaytemperaturesaregenerally95˚–105˚,RH15–23%.WindsaregenerallyoutoftheN/NW5-10mph,strengtheningintheafternoonto15-20mphanddiminishingafterdark.Sometimesalightnortheast,offshorewindwilloccurinthemorning,diminishingbeforenoon.Localwindsareupslope/upcanyonduringthedayanddownslope/downcanyonatnight.
