TURNING ONE!

Where has the year gone ......

Oh My Gosh....... A year has flown by. It only seems like yesterday youwere holding a tiny bundle of joy, now they are so big in comparison!Almost one year old and their personalities are exloding and that tiny baby is now developing into an amazing little person.

So it is now time to celebrate you little ones very first birthday. This is abirthday of significance, another first in your little ones life. Just like allthe other firsts this should be moment captured and remembered foryears to come. So let us create some wonderful memories for youwith our very fun Cake Smash session!

Our cake smash sessions are designed to be fun and messy!!! Promotingthe very special time, that is your child turning ONE.

When was the last time you had portraits made at a large chain studio and actually had the luxury of your photo session including props that were hand picked just for your session? Did he/she seek to find out who you are, what colours you may like, what ideas you may have? Can you even remember the name of your cookie-cutter in-store photographer? PRE-SMASH

Lets get smashing! Before we letyour little one get stuck in, we willcapture them in their nice cleanoutfit and also the cake in wholeform. Then.......... let them loose!This section is lovely and messy.Can be over very quickly!Can be over very quickly!

Clean up! So they got covered incake. We will run a small bath withwarm water and give your little onea few mins in the tub. Capturinganother side of them.

So sweet. We will start with a short 5-10min section with your little one in a regularoutfit. Capturing them as they usually are.This can be a pretty dress, suit or just jeansand a t-shirt. It’s up to you.

PREPARING FOR YOUR CAKE SMASH

CAKE SMASH SESSIONSCAN BE DONE A FEW WEEKS BEFOREOR AFTER YOUR LITTLE ONES BIRTHDAY

Once you decide to schedule a cake smash session with us, we willneed to know what colour schemeyou would like.

We can do combinations ie. pinkwith purple, yellow with grey etc. Sotake a moment and think abouttake a moment and think aboutwhat works in your home or childsroom.

Once we have your colour schemewe will pass the info to our baker so they can create a cake just for your little one. This will usually be either agiant cupcake or a deep single tiergiant cupcake or a deep single tiercake. If you would like a more ellaborate cake please let us knowat time of booking (there will be anextra chage) We will also at this time make / decideon a cake smash outfit.

You will also need to have a regularYou will also need to have a regularoutfit for the before cake smashimages and a towel to hand for thebath tub shots after the cake smashsection.

Although we are in a digital world, digital doesn’t do justice to the images youhave just had taken of your little one. These beautiful images should take prideand place in your home. Even if you choose to purchase one of our digital diskswe urge you to print your images. Digital disks, USB storage and even your computer hard drive can and will over time become corrupt! Here at Shelley Pixley Photography, we offer a wonderful range of productsto suit everyones budget. From simple prints to statement wall art. to suit everyones budget. PRODUCTS OVER DIGITALS!

Cakes.....With our cake smash session we will provide a basic cake using your

choice of colours.If you would like a more elaborate cake (like one of the 2 tier) please

ask, we will be happy to provide you with aquote.You are also welcome to provide your own, however there will be

no discount give.
