Over the past few months we have seen an increase in incidents where local convenience type shops have been targeted. These crimes have been occurring overnight, where premises have been entered and large quantities of cigarettes stolen. If you live close to your local store can we please urge you to contact us immediately if you see or hear any suspicious activity, particularly during the hours of darkness. If you believe a crime is taking place please ring 999. Please just observe – where possible getting good descriptions of anyone involved and vehicles being used including registration numbers. Thank you for your assistance. CAISTOR YARBOROUGH ACADEMY Part-time TEACHER OF FOOD TECHNOLOGY Required for immediate start (or January for a suitable candidate)

WE ARE looking to appoint a dynamic, driven individual to join our highly successful Creativity Faculty on a part-time basis, up to 0.7 fte. The post would suit a high-calibre NQT or more experienced teacher. THE successful candidate must have the ability to maintain, and possibly even improve, the excellent results achieved by the Faculty, thereby having a positive impact on whole-school attainment and achievement. This will be through effective teaching and learning strategies.

FOOD TECHNOLOGY is part of the Academy’s Creativity Faculty, which also includes the Arts, ICT/Business Studies and PE. It has a successful, motivated team and enjoys the benefits of excellent facilities and resources.

THE ACADEMY is a National Leader in the delivery of Learning for Life to support the academic curriculum and an International Leader in IGCSE Global Perspectives. CPD is a priority and all staff benefit from a supportive environment and a philosophy of shared practice.

WE BENEFIT from a spacious site in a beautiful location with extensive views across the Wolds. The cost of local housing is relatively inexpensive and Caistor is easily accessible from Grimsby, Lincoln and Scunthorpe.
