5. ROCK YOUR BREEZE - Had shown some hints of ability in her first four starts before a couple of poor runs on the PSF

6. VILLA ANABAA - Broke maiden tag on third attempt over 5.5f in a claimer. Disappointed last run in July

7. RUNAWAY FAIRY - By Dabirsim and will be the sixth foal to run out of a dam that has produced two winners

3. DHEVANAFUSHI - Five time winner from thirty four starts. Recent form runs are of the most regressive manner so easily tossed aside here

4. VILARO - Half a dozen victories from forty outings and in the main is very consistent so must be noted here too

5. JUMPIN'JACK FLASH - Four time winner from thirty four outings. The handicapper has been very slow to relent so maybe best watched

6. HOPELESS - A five time winner from thirty five runs. Fair enough effort last time at Fontainebleau but difficult to predict

7. WE RIDE THE WORLD - Four wins from thirty nine runs. Has been in blinding form winning two from last three at Marseille Vivaux

8. I AM CHARLIE - Eight time winner from forty seven outings. Came in fifth at Marseille Vivaux last time out but is another that needs the handicapper to relent

9. ESPERITUM - Half a dozen wins from forty seven outings. Fifth on latest three starts and sure to play a part here

10. DARK SIDE - Has four wins from seventeen outings. Very consistent type bar penultimate effort but can be easily forgiven that

11. WOODMAX - Three time winner from thirteen runs. Had shown some previous really nice efforts and could be of some interest

12. A HEAD AHEAD - Half a dozen victories from forty four events. Seems to be struggling with life at this moment in time so not put forward

13. LA FIBRE - A seven time victor from thirty three starts and is remarkably consistent bar a few blips. Arrives in form here

14. WALEC - A seven time winner from forty eight starts. Has been in the doldrums for some time now and is best left alone for win purposes

15. PEDRO THE FIRST - Four time winner from thirty two runs. Has gone a very long time without a win but was runner up last time out

16. KENARTIC - A five time winner from fifty two starts and has been so eager to please and especially at Marseille Vivaux of late

Summary

A wide open Quinte as one would expect and it has the maximum field. (2) KIHAVAHFUSHI does look a bit of a bet however. The five year old was an excellent second at Chantilly last time and now has the services of the mercurial Pierre Charles Boudot. (9) ESPERITUM can make it a big forecast. (10) DARK SIDE is noted while (14) WALEC and (7) WE RIDE THE WORLD can place too.

Summary

Hardly an event to set the pulse wildly racing but (7) LICANKABUR must be taken seriously. The son of Rajsaman won a claimer at Deauville last time and may well build on that now. (4) PINK PRINCESS rocks up with a chance while (1) LILY APPLE and (6) HUNTER VALLEY are also noted at bigger prices.

(2) WAREGA is chosen to take this event. The selection may not be all that obvious but a look at her overall form will see her pitching in at the business end and maybe at a solid price also. This has a very open look to it but a strong enough case can be made for (1) ASTRACHEM who comes in here off the back of two excellent efforts at Saint Cloud and Chantilly and may be good enough. (8) BLACK NIGHT and (2) GLOBAL PASSION have fair claims with a chance for (6) BAY OF BISCAINE also.

Summary

This is anything but straightforward. A really big effort from (4) TOP BY COCOONING may well be forthcoming at a good price. The selection has won two of his last three and also has the services of Pierre Charles Boudot. (9) SIMANO and (2) WHISKY GALORE have chances in front of (1) PASCASHA D'OR.

The five year old ran well in his last two at ParisLongchamp and Chantilly and signalled a win is just around the corner. (4) PANAMERAS and (9) NAMASJAR look next best with a chance for (5) MONT PLAZA also.

3. HELIA THORIS - Qualified modestly before being sanctioned early first time out and unlikely to spring any surprises

4. HERMINE DU GILET - Completely out of the picture in three harness starts to date and change of specialty no more than a hopeless punt

5. HARLEY WINNER - Modest sixth to (11) HORA BOT EUR MOEL on debut here earlier in the month and no more than a first five chance

6. HERMIONE QUESNOT - Very disappointing in both codes so far and not a realistic proposition

7. HABANITA SPOKEN - Has shown the limits of her capacity in the ridden discipline and chances of making any impact slim at best

8. HOLLY STAR THONIC - Somewhat green on debut over track and trip last month but caught the eye in the latter stages and will not be far off the mark

9. HIVAOA DES BROUETS - Moderate filly that showed little on ridden debut last month and can expect to have few takers

10. HANA DES MONTS - Placed just once in five under harness and chances appear slim on first appearance under the saddle

11. HORA BOT EUR MOEL - No champion but left a good impression over the main track on ridden debut two weeks ago and can make the frame

12. HOPLA DES LOUANGES - Gave an excellent account on debut over 2700m here earlier in the week and if fully recovered can get off the mark this time

Summary

Solid on debut in a Class B over the main track here on Monday, Franck Leblanc backs up his promising (12) HOPLA DES LOUANGES who looks thoroughly capable of opening her account. Due to some stride issues a fortnight ago (2) HAWAI SIBEY was unable to confirm her impressive qualification but on better behaviour can make a big impact. (11) HORA BOT EUR MOEL acquitted herself well on that occasion and will have come on for the run. (8) HOLLY STAR THONIC set off no fireworks when qualifying but still looks good enough to challenge for a spot on the podium.

1. CORSAIRE DU BOLONG - Debuts on the main track after imposing smartly in the professional ranks at Bordeaux three weeks ago and breaking in front does his chances no disservice

2. DIWI D'OCCAGNES - Fine campaigner that won well at this level here last month. Takes first steps over the long course but still looks the one to beat

3. CORNELIUS - Very effective at this level of competition. Gave a good account at Graignes last month and with front shoes off this time can again figure prominently

4. DEEPSTACK - Took little time getting back in the game following the break. Second over course and distance last time and is not incapable of going one better

5. BORNEO DE BOUTEAU - Placed twice at this level last summer but a write off since returning to competition and no threat

6. DILF DE CHAMANT - Hardy sort that always gives his best when applied but has never delivered on the main track and others preferred

7. BELLO JO - Placed at a similar level at La Capelle during the autumn but out of the picture in three since and can be passed over

8. DOMINO DODVILLE - On a fine run of form over recent months. Is already confirmed at this level and in current condition looks a player

9. CARRERA DU CLOSET - Has looked decidedly ordinary since imposing at Meslay early November but goes well for Guenet and will have her supporters

10. CLASSICO DE LOU - Useful dual discipline trotter but unraced since August and best to wait

11. CEYRA DE BELLOUET - Nothing noteworthy on her formsheet for some time and has no realistic chance

12. CHAYANE DE CALVI - No slouch on a good day and respectable in last two over course and distance but still no more than a minor place prospect

13. BAMAKO DE LA GAZO - Modest type that failed to deliver at a similar level over shorter here earlier in the month and can be passed over

14. BANDIT DU HOULET - Has ample ability but struggling of late to make his mark. Takes a big drop in class though and can get back down to business

15. BELLAGIO - Disappointing on the whole since imposing on turf during the autumn and can be ruled out

16. CYRIUS DE JADE - Quality element with nothing to prove in this class but has not been seen out for four months and will need the race

Summary

Authoritative winner on the short course last month to pull off a three-timer (2) DIWI D'OCCAGNES gave a fine account in the professional ranks next time and from the front line can open his main-track account. (4) DEEPSTACK showed his aptitude for the amateur category on Christmas Eve when second over course and distance and looks the main threat. Rather unproductive since the autumn (14) BANDIT DU HOULET takes a big dip in class and going barefoot for the occasion can begin to redeem himself. (8) DOMINO DODVILLE has just the one blip on his formsheet over recent months and drops down the class ladder with legitimate ambition. (3) CORNELIUS is in his element at this level and will not be far off the mark.

1. FIRST D'ARRY - Unremarkable sort that has yet to get off the mark and is not about to break the mould

2. FESTIN D'AVENIR - Moderate type with better references going clockwise and can be passed over

3. FULTON - Complicated but is unbeaten in two under the saddle and with application can give (9) FIGARO DE LARRE a run for his money

4. FRENCH KISS JIEL - Has ample ability but sanctioned in last six and can expect to have few friends

5. FLASH D'ALOUETTE - Delicate at the best of times but rarely disappoints when focused. Hind shoes off and with application can pick up a cheque

6. FEDER FOUTEAU - Hardy trotter that gave a good account on lone start in the discipline. Goes unshod behind this time and should not be far off the mark

7. FAVARY - Made his debut under the saddle last month a winning one. Faces a tougher bunch this time but is still competitive for a cheque

8. FORJET VOGOULIERE - 28 starts and yet to shed his maiden label. Is not without merit though and can get a look in

9. FIGARO DE LARRE - Tough type with an enviable record in the specialty. Impressive here on Christmas day and in similar form can impose this time

10. FESTIN D'AVRIL - Simply superb late last season in both disciplines and has won over course and distance. Unraced for three months but goes unshod all four and will have his chances

Summary

Particularly impressive in this branch of the game (9) FIGARO DE LARRE most recently put in quite the performance over 2700m here and should be able to wrap this up. Guillaume Martin will nevertheless be wary of the tricky but talented (3) FULTON who was victorious in both starts under the saddle. A veritable metronome in both codes in the latter part of last season (10) FESTIN D'AVRIL has not been seen out for over three months but is barefoot for re-entry and can get straight down to business. The tough (6) FEDER FOUTEAU pleased on his only start in the specialty and will appreciate his new shoeing formula.

1. GODFATHER DARBY - Unremarkable type that has placed just once in 13 and will have few friends

3. GOOD BOY BROUETS - Disappointing on the whole in the harness discipline and has no realistic chance

4. GUEPARD DE MONCHEL - Respectable in two of three appearances at this level but has placed just once in eleven here and not a priority

5. GLACE AU CHOCOLAT - Gives a good account for the most part here. Confirmed her liking for this category last time out and with shoes off on this occasion looks a player

6. GOSPEL DE BAILLY - Not without ability but has been struggling for some time. Hind shoes off for the first time but others still easier to back

7. GLORIA D'IRATY - Has shown decent aptitude at this level. Imposed smartly last time and going first time barefoot can double her money

8. GRAVITY DELO - Moderate filly but has references at a better level and can challenge for a place on the podium provided she can stay in stride

9. GIPSY MADRIK - Flour claimers. Four wins. Already successful under these conditions and can maintain his perfect run

10. GABRIELLA SPORT - Moderate filly whose form tailed off during the autumn. Unseen since and no threat

11. GALI GAME - Just one win to his name in 20 starts but gave a good account behind (9) GIPSY MADRIK last time out. Goop back in the wagon and merits respect

Summary

Convincing winner of a claimer over shorter here last month (7) GLORIA D'IRATY has had ample time to freshen up and going barefoot for the first time looks eminently capable of repeating. That being said (9) GIPSY MADRIK has won all four claimers she has competed in and is similarly unshod all four. (5) GLACE AU CHOCOLAT has not been seen out since trotting third at this level over the short course but Heslouin races her first time barefoot and should have a good hand to play. (8) GRAVITY DELO is no champion but on good behaviour can make her presence felt.

5. HUWAGA - Tricky type that would have gone close here recently had she not faulted. Trainer in the wagon this time and can impose

6. HERS AND MINE - Consistent sort that has not once let the side down. In better company this time but can still get in on the action

7. HERMINE DE TOUES - Ten starts and yet to get off the mark. Placed just once in four here and not a priority

8. HINAYA DE SIMM - Gritty winner over course and distance earlier in the month and is not incapable of doubling her money

9. HARLEY DE LAUMAC - Not the easiest to handle but has bags of talent. Yet to deliver on the main track but reassured last time and must be taken seriously

10. HEROINE DU GITE - Serious filly making her Vincennes debut on a three timer and although unlikely to pull it off should still not be far off the mark

11. HERBE VERTE - Sanctioned as often as not but has ability. Placed on only start over the main track and must be respected

12. HOTESSE DARLING - Quality element making first appearance since placing on the short course late November but can still give this a good go

13. HORIA DES MONTS - Not without merit but no closer than 5th in three starts at the venue and can be passed over

14. HELP ME WIN - Handy sort with good Vincennes references. Bit off more than she could chew last time but drops in class with a decent chance of making amends

Summary

Although still somewhat green (5) HUWAGA showed a lot of class here last week and with JMB in charge for the first time can make amends for her recent sanction. He can still expect to encounter resistance from (8) HINAYA DE SIMM who got off the mark smartly over course and distance a fortnight ago. (2)

15. ARA D'OSTAL - Consistently gives a competitive account at this level and fourth to (17) BAXTER DU KLAU last month. Confirmed at Cagnes next time and will not be far from the action

16. CIRRUS ATOUT - Useful on a good day and is confirmed at a superior level but unseen for ten months and will need the race

17. BAXTER DU KLAU - Has very good references at this level of competition. Twice a winner over course and distance and looks a major player once more

Confirmed in superior company (14) CROSS DAIRPET most recently gave a very good account of himself in a Cagnes Class C and in similar form may just have the measure of Jean-Michel Bazire's (17) BAXTER DU KLAU who boasts a very good record at this level. Rarely far off the mark in this category (5) CRAZY CRISCANI races unshod behind for the occasion and the 25m head-start does his prospects no disservice. Yannick-Alain Briand would not send (11) BOLERO CARISAIE to Paris if he was not confident of a big run. The in-form (15) ARA D'OSTAL must also be afforded respect.

Summary

Something of an open affair this but it is hard to ignore the complicated but talented (11) FABAGO DU GERS who has been in cracking form over recent months and who latterly raced considerably better than the result would suggest. The young Bazire will still meet opposition from the in-form (1) FESTIN D'HAUFOR who imposed over course and distance last month. Fourth over shorter here last weekend (7) FOXY JEF has yet to disappoint when unshod behind and can make the frame. Excellent when unshod (12) FELLI ELEVEN finished ahead of the selection last time and will again have a good hand to play.
