SolidWorks Premium is the ultimative tool for the design as well as test, pre-sentation and administration of 3D CAD models. It offers a complete suite of designing tools with efficient func-tions for parts, components, drawings and integrated tools for simulation and creation of pictures or anima-tions. In woodworking it is especially well suited for custom constructions. You will cut down your construction times, improve the cooperation wi-thin your team and thus reduce pro-duction costs.

COBUS ConCept as research and de-velopment partner for SolidWorks has now created an interface for CNC programming in the woodworking trades. The resulting feature identifi-cation allows the automatic generati-on of routing contours, drilling holes, saw cuts and cycles such as rectangu-lar, circular and free pockets.

All necessary data will be transferred to COBUS NCAD automatically.

You can continue editing your pro-gramme machine-independant in COBUS NCAD as usual. That way you can have the same SolidWorks drawing executed on various CNC machines of your machinery park wit-hout significant additional effort.
