surrounding area.
Way back when…• The cabin used to be an
old farm house where my mom and her brothers
and sisters grew up. The land the cabin used to be on is currently owned by
my Uncle Robert who inherited the land. My Grandma bought the
property by the lake to move the house out there
to be used during the summer as a little get
away.My cabin seen at night time from the lake
Ancient History..
• The cabin was built in Blaine Lake around the early 1940’s.
• The house was moved out to the farm in 1955.
• My grandma bought the land and was then moved out to the lake in 1985.
• Additions made to the cabin in 1980 was the front veranda and in 1964 the porch, bathroom and new plumbing were installed.
Things to do, People to see..
• Around the lake there are many things you can do to keep you occupied.
• There are 2 favorite swimming spots around the lakeSmiths Point and The Main Beach
• Take a trip to the campground golf course and hit up the clubhouse.• there is also a park in the campgrounds where you can take is some swinging.
Swimming in the lake
• You can take out your motor boat and take in a day of fishing or trolling at the many hot spots.
• Where there is a motor boat and water, you can always enjoy water skiing, biscuit riding and knee boarding.
• Along with swimming and fishing, you can soak up some rays to give you that bronze bod that you dream of every summer.
Water fights are always fun!
