Overview  We’re  pleased  to  announce  the  launch  of  NewBlue  Titler  Pro  Live  for  Wirecast.  Now  you  can  easily  create  lower  thirds,  hero  titles  and  end  credits  on  the  fly  in  mere  seconds.  

Based  on  NewBlue  Titler  Pro  3,  the  leader  in  fast,  beautiful,  animated  2D/3D  titles,  Titler  Pro  Live  delivers  real-­‐time  animated  titles  and  lower  thirds  to  the  Telestream  Wirecast  platform.  

Titler  Pro  Live’s  template-­‐oriented  workflow  solves  the  creative  challenges  of  real-­‐time  titling.  With  it,  you  can  prepare  stunning  animated  title  templates  in  advance,  then  insert  text  and  images  on  the  fly  at  broadcast  time.

   Quick  Tour  Once  installed,  Titler  Pro  Live  runs  directly  in  Wirecast  6  as  a  video  source.  This  integration  makes  it  simple  to  create  a  title,  drop  it  in  the  source  list  and  trigger  it  into  action  from  the  Wirecast  controls.    Let’s  take  a  quick  walk  through  to  see  how  it  works.        Getting Started    From  the  Wirecast  Sources  menu,  we’ll  choose  “New  Titler  Live  Pro…”  Doing  so  creates  a  new  title  instance  and  shows  it  in  the  standard  Wirecast  Source  Settings  window.

   There  you’ll  find  a  clean  template-­‐based  workflow,  designed  to  deliver  sophisticated  titles  quickly.      Setting Up:  In  the  Source  view,  you  can  choose  a  template  from  the  Template  menu,  then  add  text  and  depending  on  the  template,  an  image.  Here  you  can  preview  your  title  animation  with  the  Build  In  and  Build  Out  controls.      When  you  choose  a  different  template,  your  text  and  image  choices  will  change  accordingly.    Playing the Title:  Once  you  like  the  results,  you  can  go  to  the  main  Wirecast  window  and  click  on  the  Shot  list.    There  you  can  choose  your  Titler  Pro  Live  instance  from  the  popup  menu  and  drop  it  in  the  list,  ready  for  queuing.

To  add  the  title  animation,  simply  click  on  the  shot  to  preview  it,  and  then  click  on  the  Wirecast  Go  button.  Your  title  transition  appears  using  its  own  animation.  It’s  that  easy.    If  you  click  on  any  other  shot  in  the  same  list  and  click  Go  again,  your  title  transitions  back  out.    Using the Template Manager: Templates  offer  the  power  of  sophisticated  title  design  in  a  quick  production  environment.  Each  Template  is  a  complete  package  that  includes  animated  transitions  in  and  out.  Plus,  each  offers  a  way  to  replace  text  and  images  in  your  title,  so  that  you  can  apply  them  as  needed  in  production.    Titler  Pro  Live’s  Template  Manager  helps  you  view  and  organize  your  Template  library.  Simply  open  it  from  the  Manage  Templates  control  in  the  Sources  view.      

   Using  the  Template  Manager  is  easy:    

·∙ Mouse  over  the  Templates  in  the  library  and  they  play  instantly  in  the  preview  with  your  current  text  and  image  choices.  

 ·∙ Configure  the  list  to  display  only  the  Templates  you  need  for  your  production.  

 ·∙ Open  the  Template  Editor  to  modify  a  Template  –  change  font,  position,  color,  

transition  animation,  and  much,  much  more.    

·∙ And,  click  to  go  to  NewBlueFX.com  to  find  new  Template  packages.

Customizing with the Template Editor:    If  you  want  to  modify  a  Template  or  design  your  own  titles,  Titler  Pro  Live  offers  the  Template  Editor.  This  exclusive  feature  puts  the  power  of  Titler  Pro  Live  in  your  hands.  Change  simple  things  like  color,  size,  font,  and  position,  or  build  a  Template  from  scratch  –  it’s  easy.      You  can  open  the  Template  Editor  by  double-­‐clicking  on  a  Template  in  the  Template  Manager  or  choosing  “Edit  Template”  in  the  Sources  view.
